Two Styles, One Confession

We have two services at Peace that are both centered around the good news of the gospel which is expressed in different ways. Our first service contains more traditional and historic forms of worship, while our second service contains songs with more modern and contemporary music and language. In both services, we rely solely on the power of the Holy Spirit, who works through the Word and Sacraments, to turn us away from our sin and point us towards God's grace in Jesus Christ.

Traditional Service (9:30)
Traditional Lutheran worship

Contemporary Service (11:15)
Modern songs still rooted in the truth of Scripture and our Lutheran confessions.

What to Expect

Biblical

In each worship service portions of the Old Testament, New Testament, and the four Gospels are read aloud, both by the worship leaders and the congregation. Our songs, hymns, sermons, and confessions of faith are all derived from what is taught in the Scriptures.

Sacramental

One of the most important components of our worship is the celebration of the Lord's Supper. In this meal, we believe that Christ's body and blood is really present with us in, with, and under the bread and wine, providing us with his good gifts of forgiveness, life, and salvation to be received in faith. We celebrate the Lord's Supper at both of our services every 1st, 3rd, and 5th Sunday of the month.
